V-Ball in P-Town

Okay, just to make it clear, I hate the phrase "P-Town" as it just sounds stupid, but I couldn't think of anything better to go with V-Ball, so there you have it. Here are some pics from our game:

lol it's delayed!!!!

Oh man... this is kind of funny... my order has been delayed again... they have given me another $50 credit, that makes a grand total of $175 towards the phone order. So, my original price of $896 is now... $721! Not bad I suppose... but hey.. now I get to wait it out and see what new phones come out from other vendors in the next month and see if I really want to keep waiting for this phone.

Original Order Date: July 4th
Original Ship Date: July 19th
1st Delay Ship Date: July 24th (5 day delay)
2nd Delay Ship Date: July 31st (7 day delay)
3rd Delay Ship Date: September 10th (40 day delay)
4th Delay Ship Date: October 15th (35 day delay)

So a grand total of 87 days of delay with a total of $175 cash back, which equals $2.01 a day for waiting. Now, that's not great wages, but it's not bad for doing nothing but waiting.

We'll see what happens in this continuing saga.

The big day

So, today's the big day. Am I actually going to get the phone sent to me or is it going to be delayed again?!! Only time will tell. Now normally I would get a message from Dell telling me that it has been delayed sometime between 10am and 11am... but I have a dentist apt and will be gone from 9:50 until like 12/12:30, so I'll give an update on anything I've got then!

updates

It's sad that I can't think of anything better to call this post than "updates," but oh well...

So, I've been feeling rather down lately due to the fact that I can't seem to feel fulfilled. I worked hard on my house this last weekend, and got a TON done, but... I feel more tired from that, like I'm emptied out... I have been doing a lot of art searching on deviantart, and that's been great, but I'm still not fulfilled. I even spent this evening watching Monk and painting and drawing... it was nice, but it wasn't enough. I also did some motorcycle searching... but nothing too exciting there either. I guess I just feel like nothing makes me truly happy anymore...

I've even sort of become less excited about the phone I ordered... but we'll see... I'm not expecting it to be some kind of break through for me, but I would like it to be fun. I've kinda lost hope in that though. But hey, only 6 more days until we find out! Next Tuesday!!!

okay... so... I guess that's about it.

My best friend Eric is out of town all week, and that's been a serious buzz kill too.

So, onto the phone countdown. Today is the 4th, and the phone is to be ready on the 10th and to me on the 11th. Which means... I should have my new phone in 7 days!

Let's see... so far it has been delayed for so long... I would be really really really surprised.

I haven't gotten to work on my house as much as I'd like, so I was going to go kiteboarding on Friday, but now I'm going to be sanding on Friday... all day... :) assuming that I actually get my vaca approved.
